Designed to be the jewel in the crown, the FR50 Pearl is made with high-quality materials and presented to be the next generation scanner. As a stunner in both in black or white (project only), it blends into its environment perfectly, or can function as a true eyecatcher. The stationary scanner is particularly suited to non-food retail or boutique point-of-sale countertops.

The FR50 Pearl has an excellent combination of both an IR sensor and a light sensor. The light sensor works best in well-lit conditions, sensing the changes in light as a barcode is presented to it. The IR sensor has a shorter range but activates the scanner even in a poorly lit environment.

The FR80 Salmon can capture EAN codes moving at 3.5 meters per second. This is especially significant for the experienced user at a static point of sale (POS), for quickly processing baskets of goods and reducing check-out queuing.

The FR80 Salmon’s short & long-range illumination and anti-glare are designed for customer-facing applications, such as retail self-service and POS scanning. This prevents user being dazzled by sharp illumination and reflections. Additionally, the FR80 Salmon performs well when scanning off phone-screens.

Equipped with Newland's latest megapixel 2D technology, the WD3 can effortlessly capture high-density, high-volume and distorted barcodes printed on paper or displayed on the screen.

The WD3 can be set to collect barcodes and store them in the memory to be uploaded to a host via a Bluetooth or cable connection. So, if you’re delivering bulk items to a single delivery point or taking the time to create a little inventory, the WD3 can work without the need for live host interaction.

Its large scan window and small depth-of-field helps capture barcodes even when the goods are bigger, or the product is being presented very close to the scan window. An additional benefit from a large window in fast-paced retail scanning, is that the user, regardless of experience, doesn’t need to be precise when lining up a code for a successful read.

Equipped with Newlands 2D Megapixel scanning technology, the WD2 can effortlessly capture high-density, high volume and distorted barcodes printed on a wide range of materials. The mid-range version can capture codes from further away than normal and scan a wide variety of barcodes that standard range scanners may struggle with.

The Standard range uses a red aiming crosshair design that enables the use of Acuscan for precision scanning on smaller codes. Even when codes are grouped close together, Acuscan enables workers to set their sights with confidence for picking the exact item they need. The mid-range version uses a single red dot that can be seen from a greater distance for pin-pointing larger, isolated codes.

The WD2 has a compact two-bay charging station powered via a USB-C cable or a multi-region PSU. The cradle has fixing points for mounting, and the quick click docking magnets keep the WD2 securely in place even if mounted vertically. The cradles can be linked together to create a 4, 6, 8 or 10 bay multi dock cradle, optimized to 100% charging efficiently via a single PSU.
